OMG who is this kid Kiarah has become?!?!? I can't believe how good this medication is working. I have not yelled at her or got annoyed with her in 2 days! She had one of the neighbors in the house yesterday and they didn't clean up her room before bolting back outside. So I told her last night she was not allowed to play until she cleaned. So today she had breakfast and I told her to please go clean her room. She said "Ok", and walked upstairs. I about shit myself. She didn't throw herself on the floor crying I don't want to do it and acting like a brat. And I didn't have to scream my head off and bring her upstairs myself. She just got up willingly. I have not yelled at this kid in 3 days. I haven't felt stressed and overwhelmed in 3 days, life has been so calm. I kinda regret not doing meds sooner, they are working so well for her. I can't wait til she has school on Monday to see how she does then!
On another note. Today we went to the $2 theater the next town over. Its such a cute movie theater. We went to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was super cute. I am thinking about going to see Twilight this weekend! I really want to see it, so we'll see.

So I saw this myspace video that some actor/musicians did. And IDK it moved me. LOL. Even made me cry. LOL I wanted to make my own pledge, (which I will post at the end). I am excited to watch a piece of history tomorrow. I wish I was able to be in DC and I am super jealous of those who are there. I should of gone up but I was too punk to go alone. LOL. I am happy my kids will be able to share the history with me!! I also signed up to do a 1 mile walk to fight MS! Maybe if I can train myself enough before the date I can do the 3 mile. But I don't want to push it. My plans are to start walking this week. Just wanted to share. I need to get off to bed.

New meds
It took me like 5 hrs to get someone at the DRs office to tell me Kiarah's meds will be changed. I called the office we go to and they transferred me to triage. Someone called back from another office about 45 mins later. She called CVS to check on a liquid form, they didn't have it but I told her we didn't go there anymore anyway. So I told her to call Walgreens to see if they have a liquid. She told me she would call me right back.
Then I called the office we go to right before lunch and the nurse was waiting to hear back from the dr (who was at the other office). So at 2 I called the office that called me. And they said they were waiting on the pharmacist to get back to them. So I took it upon myself to call the pharmacist and he said they never called. @@ So then I called the office back and they put me on hold blah blah blah. Finally they tell me well she has to come back in and be consulted! Uhm no. I got mad because why didn't anyone tell me this in the morning! I told her she just need a new script for something that's not a pill. She told me to call our office and make an appt. So I called the office we go to and explained to the receptionist what was going on. She is super nice and she got nurse. The nurse apologized a million times when I told her the story. LOL So she gave me 2 options. A med that can sprinkled in food and you mix it in. Or one that dissolves in liquid. I took the liquid one. Its called Vyanese. So she will start this one in the morning. We will see how this goes. More updates tomorrow.

Hates pills!
So today sucked with Kiarah taking the pill. I gave it to her and it took 45 mins (yet again). She was afraid to swallow it. She ended up spitting a mixture of applesauce and water in my face twice!!!!!! I almost puked because yea it was gross. So today and tomorrow we are skipping out on the pill all together and I will be calling her DR to get the meds in a liquid. Hopefully she won't give me a hard time with that. But the good thing about it I saw a different kid yesterday! She was so calm and paid attention. The coming off was no fun though. She was emotional and back to her pre med self. Took me a few times to get her attention etc. So I see this a great outcome as long as the meds are not a damn pill. LOL

Today's Randoms
-I cried in class tonight. I hate this shit. I have no fucking clue what I am doing. Its been so long that I have taken math that I'm so lost. In all the years I have been out of school I have not once used this shit.
-I have work to do from today. I'm too tired though. :(
-Tomorrow is Leah's funeral. Breaks my heart. Wish I was home for it.
-Some guy on myspace emailed me. LOL He's in the Army. In Afghanistan right
now. Kinda strange that he emailed me. I made my page private yesterday, so I don't have a clue how he found me or anything like that. His page is private too, so IDK if we have mutual friends or maybe in a group together. LOL but he has a nice body :) lol
-I don't really have anything else to be random about.
-I got hit on by some old dude in class.
-The guy who was sitting either on the right or in front of me had horrible breath! I got so nauseous that I ended up leaving class a half an hour early.
-I spent money that I shouldn't of in Walgreens
-However I bought Kiarah a HM pillow that opens up to a notebook, and can plug in your mp3 player into. A HM flameless candle, a notebook for work, and Camp Rock Valentines. Im giving her the HM stuff, a pair of sneakers, shirt and a small box of candy for Vday. IDK what Im buying Madi yet. I think a pair of sneakers too and a shirt. But for 2 other things to equal Im not sure. These are the ones I have in mind. Kiarahs are on the left, Madi on the right
-I came home a bit after 9 and both kids were up. @@ My mom yells at me if I let Kiarah stay up til 830 yet it was ok for her to be up at 9. Madi was clearly tired. As soon as she hit the bed she knocked out.

ADHD
So Kiarah went to her peditrician for her ADHD on Wednesday. She was just taking like 10 steps back with her behaviour. I tried everything I was "taught" to do since she was oringially DXed. I decided this time we would try meds. She was given 18 mgs of concerta 1 x a day. She will start it Friday morning. I will be sure to update about it.

Hard
Wow so a girl I have known for 17 years passed away 2 nights ago. She died of a bacterial infection that she got when she was in Columbia. Reading all of her best friends messages on FB has just hit me really hard. Life is too fucking short. I have no idea what I would do if I lost my best friend. I am sure I would be taking it as hard as she is. Times like this you need to be closer to your friends. I wish I had my best friend with me right now. I miss the shit out of being in NC and her back in NY. This sucks.

My luck
So I knew it would be my luck! GRRR. I have to do all 5 parts of my GED. This sucks. I wish I had known about that back when I originally took the test in 01. The new test started Jan 02 so I should have taken the test in Aug 01 or Nov 01 but because I didn't know I was able to re take the test I never went back. I'm a dumb ass for that. I was hoping to get out of the math test. So now I have to be fully into my studying because I know I will get discouraged some how. I hate math that much. I need to do this, and for the first time EVER I am really READY. I start classes all the time most know that and never complete but this time its different. I actually want it, instead of thinking "I need this". Which I do, yes I know but I guess you need to want first. It just sucks because I hate math. LOL Oh well right?

Vacation-now

So this is the first time I have been able to take a seat and write. I am actually on the train as I type, not on the internet though. I wish the train had wifi that would of been a lifesaver for me. ha ha. Anyway so we are on the train to VA! We are super excited to go see grandma. The train was about 30 mins late, and now we are sitting at another train station because a girl dislocated her shoulder trying to lift her back to the over head.
So Christmas! It was a great day. The girls slept til about 9ish. I could not believe how many damn presents were actually under the tree. I didn't realize so much was bought for them. They are such spoiled brats. LOL I mean granted everything was from myself, my mom, Steph (my best friend) and my Aunt Tina brought her presents up too.
When Madi came down she kept saying "Oh my gosh". It was so cute. To see her excited was great. Same with Kiarah when she saw all the gifts she was super excited. It took them about an hour to get through everything. This is what they got.

I can't believe how fast Christmas came and went and that next week is already the end of the year. It flies man, its nuts. For New Years Eve I got a babysitter. I am super excited about that!!! LOL. I am going to be going to my parents best friends house. My mom will be coming to pick me up at the train station around 4/5. We have to rush home so I can feed the kids, hope in the shower and get ready. I have really never gone out on NYE. I mean I always went to Steph's house but there are going to be tons of people there because its also Dj's bday. So I am definitly looking forward to going to the party. Taylor (my neighbors daughter) will be coming to sit with the girls. And I believe she is going to spend the night. Should be nice!
Ok so I am going to end it here. I have to get Kiarah an orange and I think Im going to go read Twilight, I am trying to finish it while we are at Grandmas. I probably won't have ot bother with the girls much because Grandma is going to want to spend as much time as she can in the next 6 days.

So we are in Va. Its nice. Our train was a half an hour late. We got here and ate right away because we were starving. Madi was iffy about Gloria (grandma) and Helen (great grandma). It took her a moment to get used to them. But once she was she was fine, and now won’t leave them alone. We called it a night fairly early last night.
Today I got to sleep in til about 9. We ate waffles this morning for breakfast. And then we just hung out around the house for a little while. Then I hopped in the shower so we can go out to eat for lunch. We went to to Golden Corral. But of course that went right through me. Damn the gall bladder needing to be removed. Well anyway so we went to the mall to walk around. I ended up feeling sick again, but after awhile I was ok again. I bought Kiarah a new pair of headphones because the one she got with her MP3 hurt her ear. And I got her a little speaker thing that plugs into the headphone jack. I got them at KB Toys. I spent $4 and change for both because the store was going out of business. After that we went to Gymboree looking for a plain white cami, they didn’t have any. We stopped at Journey’s and I need to order Kiarah a pair of sneakers now. LOL She saw these mid top DC’s she wants. They were super cute. So when I get paid again I will get them for her. We went to Old Navy after and they didn’t have any cami’s either. Then we decided to leave because my stomach was just ick. I stopped at Kmart to get some pepto, and felt better almost immediately.
When we got back to the house we didn’t do much. I hopped on Gloria’s computer to check my mail. I also had to call Amtrak because I was almost positive I lost our tickets. I had noticed last night I couldn’t find them. They said there was no way they could help me because tickets are like money. Thankfully I found them though. They were in a zippered part of the computer bag, I don’t even remember putting them there. Gloria made lamb, broccoli, corn, and mashed taters for dinner. It was good. Kiarah ate almost most of it, and Madi picked at it. The rest of the night was relaxing. I played a game on my computer, and Kiarah listened to her MP3, Madi colored. I should have been reading but that didn’t happen. LOL Madi didn’t fall asleep until around 10 because she had a late nap and slept until 5:30 ish. Kiarah was on the computer til 11 playing a game, and knocked out at 11:15. I sat here watching the Notebook J Of course I cried. HA HA.
Tomorrow I believe we are going to go to Walmart. I need some detangler spray for the girls hair, and Madi needs diapers. That’s really it. Til next time!! J

Today the girls met one of their cousins and her daughter. Dana is Taylor’s first cousin. She came down to visit from MD. Her daughter is 6 months older than Madi. They hit it off pretty good and Kiarah wouldn’t leave Dana alone. LOL. Earlier in the day we went shopping to get some food the girls and I like and I had to get a few things at walmart. I bought New Moon. I am still reading Twilight though. Its so addicting but to find the time to read with Madi is pretty hard.

I can’t believe we leave in a few days. This trip went by mighty fast. Shit Im complaining about the trip going by fast, what about the year. Where did 2008 go? Anyway so today we went out to eat at some place named Shoney’s not impressive. The food was pretty gross. I was careful what I ate too because I was afraid I was going to have a day like Saturday. LOL I still felt kinda sick when we left so we went home for a bit, Madi slept and I just laid down with her. About an hour in a half after we left again. I wasn’t sure where we were going though. We ended up at Chuck E Cheese. This was my first time ever going too. I have heard so many horror stories about CEC and even Gloria was hesitant to go. But it was so clean!! The crown was small so I didn’t get a headache like I thought I would. LOL. The girls had a blast. Madi had so much fun playing the games too. She got pissed when she ran out of tokens. I definitly want to make a trip there sometime at the end of Jan-mid Feb.

Today Gloria took us to see Richmond. The city is ok. Its kinda dirty thought, but there are a lot of nice areas. We went to some whole foods store and got some hot food which was yummy. LOL We went back to the house and made spagetti and sauce. And then at 7:15 Gloria and Kiarah went to the train station to go get Tajia (Taylor’s niece). It was nice to see her. I haven’t seen her since 2007. Madi took to her really well and wouldn’t leave her alone. I can’t believe we leave tomorrow!!

So it’s 2009. Can you believe it? I can’t, I’m still wondering where it has gone. I just now thought about Madi turning 2 in 2 ½ months. Blah! LOL. Anyway so yesterday was very annoying. We get to the train station at about 12:45, I go in the station to check the big pieces of luggage first. And the dude tells me the train is late! Blah. Ok so I am thinking half hour maybe 45 mins. Nope 1-2 hrs! I then got hot and agitated. I just wanted to be home at this point. Madi has drove me up the wall the last few days because she was out of her environment and I was so sick of her screaming. So I go back to the car and tell Gloria. We then decided to drive down the street. We go to some shopping center and I get my eye brows waxed and then we just chit chatted. The time went by faster than I expected. We go back at 2 and the guy tells me the train should arrive at 2:35. Ok fine. I check the car seats and then come back for the carry ons, and kids. We say good bye and go inside. Of course my kids can’t sit still though.
The train comes at 2:47. We get on and get settled and all was ok. They started watching a movie on the laptop and then ate. It was an ok ride for the most part until Madison got annoyed and didn’t want to sit anymore. Which I don’t blame her for. We made it though, arrived into Raleigh at 6:15. Then by the time we got our luggage got the car seats in the car we got home at 7:02...only 17 mins away…not bad. So I made waffles for Kiarah, and heated up some baked mac and cheese for Madison. Then had to rush to get dressed. Waited for my aunt to get out of the shower, then I got in and got dressed and by the time I was doing my make up and hair the sitter was here. I think we left around 8. We went up to my parent’s best friends house for his 40th bday and NYE Bash. It was fun. There were tons of people there. At 11 we left though because Madi wouldn’t go to sleep. So I went home put her to bed and then we went over to a neighbors house. We had a blast. I just love drunk people. LOL. I have tons of pics I will probably eventually post. Being that I hate to post pics on this site who knows when that will actually be though. LOL. That’s it. Its almost 10 Im still in bed. Yay for sleeping/laying in. But I will be getting up in a few mins to eat. Then I have to put all my shit away. BLAH! Oh and to top off my NY my fucking jerk of a dog ate one of Madi’s sneakers!! They were my favorite and the only one that freaking fit. I was so pissed. Im mad at my mom too because she left him out of his crate last night. But then its my fault for leaving them laying around. Even though her sneakers were laying next to my moms sneakers. He was just mad that no one was home and then decided to eat the sneakers. So now she has to wear her crocs until I get paid in 2 wks to go buy some. Good thing she loves her crocs! And you know I probably wouldn’t care as much had they not been the only sneakers that fit. 1 pair are too small and they hurt to walk in, and another pair are too big. She has boots but she can’t wear those with everything. Well now I guess she will get the DC’s we saw the other day. LOL

So Christmas! It was a great day. The girls slept til about 9ish. I could not believe how many damn presents were actually under the tree. I didn't realize so much was bought for them. They are such spoiled brats. LOL I mean granted everything was from myself, my mom, Steph (my best friend) and my Aunt Tina brought her presents up too.
When Madi came down she kept saying "Oh my gosh". It was so cute. To see her excited was great. Same with Kiarah when she saw all the gifts she was super excited. It took them about an hour to get through everything. This is what they got.

I can't believe how fast Christmas came and went and that next week is already the end of the year. It flies man, its nuts. For New Years Eve I got a babysitter. I am super excited about that!!! LOL. I am going to be going to my parents best friends house. My mom will be coming to pick me up at the train station around 4/5. We have to rush home so I can feed the kids, hope in the shower and get ready. I have really never gone out on NYE. I mean I always went to Steph's house but there are going to be tons of people there because its also Dj's bday. So I am definitly looking forward to going to the party. Taylor (my neighbors daughter) will be coming to sit with the girls. And I believe she is going to spend the night. Should be nice!
Ok so I am going to end it here. I have to get Kiarah an orange and I think Im going to go read Twilight, I am trying to finish it while we are at Grandmas. I probably won't have ot bother with the girls much because Grandma is going to want to spend as much time as she can in the next 6 days.

So we are in Va. Its nice. Our train was a half an hour late. We got here and ate right away because we were starving. Madi was iffy about Gloria (grandma) and Helen (great grandma). It took her a moment to get used to them. But once she was she was fine, and now won’t leave them alone. We called it a night fairly early last night.
Today I got to sleep in til about 9. We ate waffles this morning for breakfast. And then we just hung out around the house for a little while. Then I hopped in the shower so we can go out to eat for lunch. We went to to Golden Corral. But of course that went right through me. Damn the gall bladder needing to be removed. Well anyway so we went to the mall to walk around. I ended up feeling sick again, but after awhile I was ok again. I bought Kiarah a new pair of headphones because the one she got with her MP3 hurt her ear. And I got her a little speaker thing that plugs into the headphone jack. I got them at KB Toys. I spent $4 and change for both because the store was going out of business. After that we went to Gymboree looking for a plain white cami, they didn’t have any. We stopped at Journey’s and I need to order Kiarah a pair of sneakers now. LOL She saw these mid top DC’s she wants. They were super cute. So when I get paid again I will get them for her. We went to Old Navy after and they didn’t have any cami’s either. Then we decided to leave because my stomach was just ick. I stopped at Kmart to get some pepto, and felt better almost immediately.
When we got back to the house we didn’t do much. I hopped on Gloria’s computer to check my mail. I also had to call Amtrak because I was almost positive I lost our tickets. I had noticed last night I couldn’t find them. They said there was no way they could help me because tickets are like money. Thankfully I found them though. They were in a zippered part of the computer bag, I don’t even remember putting them there. Gloria made lamb, broccoli, corn, and mashed taters for dinner. It was good. Kiarah ate almost most of it, and Madi picked at it. The rest of the night was relaxing. I played a game on my computer, and Kiarah listened to her MP3, Madi colored. I should have been reading but that didn’t happen. LOL Madi didn’t fall asleep until around 10 because she had a late nap and slept until 5:30 ish. Kiarah was on the computer til 11 playing a game, and knocked out at 11:15. I sat here watching the Notebook J Of course I cried. HA HA.
Tomorrow I believe we are going to go to Walmart. I need some detangler spray for the girls hair, and Madi needs diapers. That’s really it. Til next time!! J

Today the girls met one of their cousins and her daughter. Dana is Taylor’s first cousin. She came down to visit from MD. Her daughter is 6 months older than Madi. They hit it off pretty good and Kiarah wouldn’t leave Dana alone. LOL. Earlier in the day we went shopping to get some food the girls and I like and I had to get a few things at walmart. I bought New Moon. I am still reading Twilight though. Its so addicting but to find the time to read with Madi is pretty hard.

I can’t believe we leave in a few days. This trip went by mighty fast. Shit Im complaining about the trip going by fast, what about the year. Where did 2008 go? Anyway so today we went out to eat at some place named Shoney’s not impressive. The food was pretty gross. I was careful what I ate too because I was afraid I was going to have a day like Saturday. LOL I still felt kinda sick when we left so we went home for a bit, Madi slept and I just laid down with her. About an hour in a half after we left again. I wasn’t sure where we were going though. We ended up at Chuck E Cheese. This was my first time ever going too. I have heard so many horror stories about CEC and even Gloria was hesitant to go. But it was so clean!! The crown was small so I didn’t get a headache like I thought I would. LOL. The girls had a blast. Madi had so much fun playing the games too. She got pissed when she ran out of tokens. I definitly want to make a trip there sometime at the end of Jan-mid Feb.

Today Gloria took us to see Richmond. The city is ok. Its kinda dirty thought, but there are a lot of nice areas. We went to some whole foods store and got some hot food which was yummy. LOL We went back to the house and made spagetti and sauce. And then at 7:15 Gloria and Kiarah went to the train station to go get Tajia (Taylor’s niece). It was nice to see her. I haven’t seen her since 2007. Madi took to her really well and wouldn’t leave her alone. I can’t believe we leave tomorrow!!

So it’s 2009. Can you believe it? I can’t, I’m still wondering where it has gone. I just now thought about Madi turning 2 in 2 ½ months. Blah! LOL. Anyway so yesterday was very annoying. We get to the train station at about 12:45, I go in the station to check the big pieces of luggage first. And the dude tells me the train is late! Blah. Ok so I am thinking half hour maybe 45 mins. Nope 1-2 hrs! I then got hot and agitated. I just wanted to be home at this point. Madi has drove me up the wall the last few days because she was out of her environment and I was so sick of her screaming. So I go back to the car and tell Gloria. We then decided to drive down the street. We go to some shopping center and I get my eye brows waxed and then we just chit chatted. The time went by faster than I expected. We go back at 2 and the guy tells me the train should arrive at 2:35. Ok fine. I check the car seats and then come back for the carry ons, and kids. We say good bye and go inside. Of course my kids can’t sit still though.
The train comes at 2:47. We get on and get settled and all was ok. They started watching a movie on the laptop and then ate. It was an ok ride for the most part until Madison got annoyed and didn’t want to sit anymore. Which I don’t blame her for. We made it though, arrived into Raleigh at 6:15. Then by the time we got our luggage got the car seats in the car we got home at 7:02...only 17 mins away…not bad. So I made waffles for Kiarah, and heated up some baked mac and cheese for Madison. Then had to rush to get dressed. Waited for my aunt to get out of the shower, then I got in and got dressed and by the time I was doing my make up and hair the sitter was here. I think we left around 8. We went up to my parent’s best friends house for his 40th bday and NYE Bash. It was fun. There were tons of people there. At 11 we left though because Madi wouldn’t go to sleep. So I went home put her to bed and then we went over to a neighbors house. We had a blast. I just love drunk people. LOL. I have tons of pics I will probably eventually post. Being that I hate to post pics on this site who knows when that will actually be though. LOL. That’s it. Its almost 10 Im still in bed. Yay for sleeping/laying in. But I will be getting up in a few mins to eat. Then I have to put all my shit away. BLAH! Oh and to top off my NY my fucking jerk of a dog ate one of Madi’s sneakers!! They were my favorite and the only one that freaking fit. I was so pissed. Im mad at my mom too because she left him out of his crate last night. But then its my fault for leaving them laying around. Even though her sneakers were laying next to my moms sneakers. He was just mad that no one was home and then decided to eat the sneakers. So now she has to wear her crocs until I get paid in 2 wks to go buy some. Good thing she loves her crocs! And you know I probably wouldn’t care as much had they not been the only sneakers that fit. 1 pair are too small and they hurt to walk in, and another pair are too big. She has boots but she can’t wear those with everything. Well now I guess she will get the DC’s we saw the other day. LOL
