10 Years ago today.

I was in labor with Kiarah. LOL At 12 my water broke and my neighbor took me to the hospital where I met my mom and best friend Stephanie. Oddly enough not long after getting there they sent me home because the paper strip didn't change. Around 4:00 PM I'm standing in my cousins kitchen leaking water all over the place....yea but I'm not in labor! After I soaked through 2 pairs of shorts I went back to L&D...and this time the strip changed colors. Well DUH! In 15 hrs from now I was cursing my mom out for trying to take pictures of me after coming out of the shower (I was dressed just in pain). And at 10:34 AM my gorgeous wide eyed, black hair baby girl came out quietly loving the world she was in. I have never been so happy in life to welcome my little girl into the world. Tomorrow she hits double digits and it makes me sad! In 3 more years she will be a teenager, and in just a few months she will be graduating from elementary school and off to middle school. 10 years have passed by so fast, the next 7 will fly by and she will be graduating HIGH SCHOOL! :(

Changes

By the way. I know my blog lookers are super small, but I want to change that. I love all the blogs that blog about random things. I would like to change that. Look out in the near future!!!

Almost game time!

So later on today in like 17ish hours. So today while I was bored I painted my nails. I did a white base and the ny symbol in red. Since they are wearing their away jersey's it seemed appropriate. I also baked 48 cupcakes. I did one batch in blue velvet (same as red velvet but using blue food coloring instead...lol) They do look a bit different, they kind of look black on top, but I opened it up and they are blue. I did the 2nd batch just chocolate I should have done red velvet but it was too late since I already put them in the liners. Anyway I will be doing the same thing as my nails. I thought about putting the numbers of some of the players as well. I will make sure to eat number 44...ha ha. ;-) So the plan is to head over to the party around 2/3, it's going to be such a blast. I seriously can't wait. It's probably going to be a late night too. 0_o Anyway here is a pic of my nails. They do not look the greatest. Ha my left hand is even more jacked! :-X

Let's Go NY!

Big Blue is heading to SUPERBOWL! How exciting. I can't wait to watch them play against New England Patriots, talk about 2008 all over again. LOL I'm going to be going to an awesome party. 2 more weeks!

Challenge accepted

So I got onto Goodreads today and saw something about a 2012 reading challenge. I've decided to take that challenge up! I used to read a book in 1/2 days. Now books take me like uhm weeks, months sometimes over a year. LOL Like for instance I've been reading Chelsea Handler's My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands for like 3 weeks now. I just can't focus enough to read a book in a few days like I used to. So I decided to make a goal of 100 books. I've already failed at my 365 for 2012. Let's see if I can do this one! LOL I have a list of books already so hopefully I can keep up with it. Wish me luck! LMAO

I am OFFICIALLY done with my Christmas shopping. Ok well I lied. I still need to get Madison 3 more things for her stocking. But all presents are bought. I finished yesterday when I got Kiarah her new comforter set, and her ihome. I'm pretty excited to give her those. Now I have to wrap, oh the joys. I really HATE wrapping.

So today a few friends on Facebook shared a link to a blog named ohsoposhphotography, where she is giving away a lovely Nikon D90! So I decided to post a blog about it, you know for my entry and all. :-D I think its pretty amazing for someone to give this away. Makes me miss my D3000! :'( I of course would love to win won. If I don't win I hope the person who does enjoys it. Its an awesome camera.
