Birthday aftermath

I have finally decided to sit down and share pics and about Madi's birthday. I just wasn't up to writing. Tisk tisk I know. LOL

She had a great day! We had breakfast together, then watched The Little Mermaid. Then had lunch, after lunch she went over to my neighbors house for a play date. While she was on her playdate I made her oreo cake. She came home and dinner was cooked. She wanted chicken fingers, fries and baked beans. So we used real chicken and breaded it and cooked it. And it was really good. After dinner we went to go get her bike at Walmart. She loves it. Then came home and did cake and ice cream. After that I allowed her to go out for 15 minutes to ride her bike. She had some trouble with it, but all in all she did pretty ok. Here are some pics.

                                                                 Picking a flower.

                                                                 Smelling the flower.

Such a big girl.

Thinking. She's so funny.

:)

My girl 4 year old!

Cake supplies.

The frosting in the middle of the cake. The piping bag was for the things I piped on top to hold the cookies.

The frosting started to melt. Oooops. LOL

Before blowing out her candles.

Riding her bike. LOL She wasn't scared here.

She loves it.

Happy birthday!!!

4 years ago today my world was changed for the second time. 3/22/07 at 4:32 AM Madison Charliese came into this world. She was welcomed by her daddy and I. Just like Kiarah it was love at first sight, and so precious. I remember the first thing I said when she came out was for the fact she had Taylor's ears. LOL. She is such a smart child today. She amazes me by the things she knows. And always has me laughing with her whittiness. <3 Happy birthday baby girl! <3

-B-o-R-e-D-

I'm bored just kinda felt like writing a entry. Today was a decent day. It was really warm today. I love Spring!!! :) We went to the park for a little bit today and then went to this place called Pelican's Snoballs. My girls love that place. This was the first weekend they were open, they will be open next weekend and the grand opening is on April 1st, so they will be open every day til Halloween.

I got the make and take crowns I ordered through Oriental Trading, for Madison's bday. I'm not thrilled with them. Each of the girls will only get 4 of the foam jewels. I thought they would get a few more a piece. I wish I had gone with these and then bought these jewels. They would have been a little more money wise, but I think they would have been nicer looking. Oh well! It will be a fun activity to do. I also bought the Disney Princess Party cd through Amazon.com. I plan for the kids to do the musical chair song, and then Mulan's trip song...which is a left/right game. I will just have the big kids help with that one. LOL I just can't wait for this coming Saturday.

I am sad that she will be 4 in just 2 days. I still don't get where the time goes for real. BTW I love the fact that I can link. This is fun!

Madi's 4th birthday party!

I've been meaning to post Madi's birthday plans for a few days now. LOL I just haven't been up to do it. So Madi will be 4 on March 22, that is just in 1 week!!! First off, where the heck does the time go?????I just can't believe my baby is going to be tuning 4 in SIX days! I have a pretty awesome birthday planned for her on March 26th. The part will be for 2 hours, 2-4. As you can see on my invite above. LOL By the way the invite was made by my wonderful friend April at H&C Designs. She is AWESOME! and very reasonably priced, she has been doing my invites for quite some time now. Go check her out. :)

Anyway for the first half hour I will have them do games:pin the tiara on the princess, musical chairs and maybe one more game. From 1:30-2:30 I have Ariel...AKA The Little Mermaid coming to her party! I was searching for someone who does Princess parties, and found one in Raleigh. The place is called A Fairytale Experience, she currently has Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Snow White, And Tiana (Princess and the Frog). Starting April 1st she will have Rapunzel from Tangled...too bad she won't have her prior to that. Oh well, because Madi's absolute fave is Ariel! I am just so excited to see her reaction! Anyway the last half hour I will do the whole happy birthday thing and then send the girls on their way. I am doing (well not myself because I don't have the stuff to do it) but having a Little Mermaid pull apart cake..aka cupcake cake. I have decided this year I am refusing to do a goodie bag. What I decided to make white chocolate covered oreo cookies with Ariel sugar thingies. LOL Here is a pic of what I found online that gave me the idea.

I just can't wait to do her party. LMAO I get so excited at planning parties. I really should be a party planner. :) Here is some of the stuff I got.

The bouncy balls and bubbles are for prizes for the games. In the back left are the Little Mermaid cupcake papers, and clear plastic bags to put the cookies in. There is a spool of pink ribbon too. I should have gotten purple like I originally wanted. There is a smidge of purple in the cupcake wrapper. LOL I need to print out a Thank You message and then I'm putting it on card stock and attaching it to the bag. I got the small wands for the girls to have. I'm waiting on a box from Oriental Trading which has foam crowns and jewels and princess candy bracelets. I need to get to Walmart to this weekend and get the table cloths. And maybe a streamer thing, and debating on balloons. I know the Dollar Tree actually has a Disney Princess mylar balloon. Maybe I'll get one or 2 and then some purple/pink latex balloons.

Ok thats all I have to say for now. LOL ;-)

What a beautiful day!

Yesterday (errr well 2/27/11....this somehow NEVER posted!!) was a really nice day! It was so warm outside. I truly love the southern weather, just hate the south. LOL We decided on going to park yesterday. Kiarah brought her friend (and our neighbor) Brody. We went to McDonald's first and got some happy meals and brought them up to the park to eat. They had a blast, the park was PACKED!!!! There must have been about 30 kids, maybe more. We were there for about 2 hours. Then we came home and I was out chatting with the neighbors til about 6:45, the girls were out playing with the neighborhood kids. We came in and had dinner. And then it was shower/bath and off to bed. All in all it was a great day, I am anticipating Spring. I love when you can be out in capris and flip flops.

The only thing bad about the day is I have something called geographical tongue. And well from eating last nights dinner (which was stew) my tongue flared up. Boy was that not fun. I think that was the worse I have even seen it!! It was swollen, and super red...where it looked like it was kinda bleeding. My dentist has said that I may have gotten GT from having my tongue pierced, or its just genetics. I can't remember if I had it prior to having the piercing. So I suffered for a bit and then I was fine.

Here are some pics from yesterday. Kiarah is so anti pictures. I wish she would knock that crap off and allow me to take pics. :( Oh and I forgot the camera, so I had to just use my phone cam.
