Where o Where have I been?

Not here blogging!! So lets see whats going on in my world.

Kiarah spoke to Taylor last night. she asked to call him so I said ok. I don't want to step in her way and like I said last time end up the bad guy. They talked about school, and she brought up going to Va after Xmas. She told him about dance and how she loves to play Guitar Hero. He asked if Madi can talk yet. So Kiarah asked Madi if she wanted to talk to daddy and they talked. He asked her what she was doing and she said. Mommy, Yaya (Kiarah), Aries, home tv. Basically we were home watching TV. LOL then I got a phone call I was waiting for and told him they would call back. LOL But by that time they were off to bed.

Today I got nerve to call him myself. I called his GF because his phone is still not on. She said he wouldn't be home til 5 or 6. So we talked. The reason I wanted to call was because Kiarah wants to play spring soccer and I won't have the money in time for the deadline. The stupid soccer president made the last day of sign up on Dec 28th. Uhm hello that's only a few days after Xmas. Most people spend their last pay check on Xmas like me. LOL. I asked if she knew if he would have 75 before the deadline and I told her why I needed it. So she took the money out of her rent and will have him put it back next pay check. I was shocked she did it. She was at the post office getting it and going to send it while she was there.

We talked about other things. But Im not going to blast all that on the internet out of respect.

UPDATES ON US!

Work is keeping me on my toes! I love my job. I am working about 8-9 hrs a day. Its getting hectic but I am managing. I have yet to hear from the lady about my GED. I called the director and she is on vaca until Jan 5th. Blah on them. I need to get my ass to the damn dentist. My teeth have been bothering me. I think I have a cavity. :( cavities suck ass. I went to the dermatologist yesterday the 2 things I have on my arm and back. Are not cancer. I forget what he said they are but I'm good. No need to be surgically removed. YAY me. LOL. I am debating on getting my IUD removed. LOL I hate how my period is. Its just so anoying. Too much info but it just comes when it wants and I spot on and off whenever my body feels its needed. I have lost 5 more lbs. Woo Hoo me. Who would of thunk with the holiday season upon us I would lose not gain. LOL. I plan on starting the Couch to 5k soon. I just need a new ipod. That will have to wait until I am caught up with everthing. Im thinking maybe Feb starting? I need to buy my mom her Xmas present and then pay for my phone and I will be good. I am torn between the pink and red one. I want to get the Nike thing that connects to it too. Measures your distance and this and that. Seems pretty cool.

Kiarah has been driving me mad. At school they are on a color chart for behavior. Green is good, yellow is a warning, and red is 2 warnings. She brought home a yellow every day last week but Friday. And has at least 2 a week. This week Mon was green, Tues yellow, yesterday RED!!!! and today yellow. Apparently yesterday she decided to bite a kid because they took an eraser from her. So my mom decided to tell me she is the way she is at school because of me. Its all my fault @@. she is acting the same way she did when she was DXed with ADHD! I am so fed up with it that I am having her reevaluated and possibly put on meds. Do I want to no. But nothing is working anymore. I can take everything away from her til she has nothing but clothes...which is what she has in her room and she still acts this way. Its frustrating to deal with.

Madi is great. Doing very good PTing. I am still to worried to put her in panties but it will happen in about another week or so. Next week I will be buying pull ups. I couldn't afford them this week. LOL Nothing to really update on her.

Orientation and then some.

So I had orientation tonight. I was not thrilled to be honest. LOL I hate school so damn much that when I was in the parking lot in front of the building my stomach started turning. Anyway so I go to the room it was supposed to be in and a bunch of people are just waiting. No one shows up. 5 minutes later the instructor walks over and tells us we are to go to another room @@ yea thanks! LOL. So I got my test results back. Reading and Language is GREAT! Math...not so much. LOL. Im in 7th grade math. I am horrible at it. Anyway because I got below a 9th grade in math I have to do 50 hrs just in math then take another test to see if I am at a 9th grade level. Then I will be in the GED class and work towards my pre test which will be about a month. Once I pass that test I will qualify for the actual test. So the lady said she was going to come around to each person and explain to them what the test score means and if they were placed in the right class. So she comes around to me and we started (wow I started typing got to talking...so southern @@) and I mentioned about taking the test back in 01. So she said I shouldn't have to retake the whole test. I told her I only failed the 1 part because I rushed the test because I wanted to get out of there...yes I know stupid. Anyway so she said my test should be good until 2012. She is going to look into it and see if she is giving me the right info. If thats the case I won't have to take GED classes for math. I will just take the practice test for language and then test in Feb on that part. My luck she gave me thr wrong info. LOL So whoever reads...please have hopeful thoughts.

So onto other things!

Last night Kiarah was acting up. So my mom said to her you better knock it off because Santa is watching and I bet he won't bring you any toys. So she turns around and says IDC he's not real anyway!!! I wanted to cry. she is only 6 and too young to know the truth...IMO. I tried to convince her he is, but she wasn't going for it. The parks and rec here has some dude call kids who sign up for it. So I faxed them the paper this morning and they will have the person call on Wednesday. Hopefully it will put the fact he is "real" back in her.

The last 3 days Madi has been doing REALLY well with the potty. Yesterday she went potty 6 times. Out of those 6...5 she told me she needed to go. Today she has gone four times. Out of the 4 she told me twice! Its def a work in process but I think she has it down and this is it. I just bought my last box of diapers I will now have to get pull ups and put her in diapers only at night. Oh and the 2nd time she had to go, she made me laugh. She told me too hurry up (her new phrase) and run. LOL. I'm so proud of her!

Adios cupcake maker

Yep. I plan to do just that!!! So after someone telling me that the cupcake maker had bad reviews and I checked them out on 2 sites. It will be going back. Almost everyone said the cakes taste like card board and the icing was just gross. So that will go back and I will have my mom get the spa thing instead. It looked like a cool thing but oh well.

Kiarah FINALLY lost her 1st tooth last night. She is growing up so fast, its really scary! It was so bittersweet that I got all teary eyed. LOL. She was happy it finally came out. The Tooth Fairy came last night. Her name is Erin. She left a letter for Kiarah, some dough and fairy dust fell off her wings when she came to visit. She left me a wonderful mess to clean. Damn her. ;-)

Kiarah was sick over the weekend with a fever. And then Tuesday night she was hacking all night, so I kept her home Wednesday. I brought her to the DR and she has acute bronchitis. I also talked to her about her ADHD. Lately she has been slipping back to her old ways and I am fed up with her behavior. And with her teacher sending me notes home every day enough is enough. So we are going to re-evaluate her. I sent the release form for the DR back in NY to send her file over. And now that I realized..they are not going to have anything on file. Its there but everything was in her school records. So I have to call tomorrow and see whats going to happen with that. My luck they will re test her on EVERYTHING, which I don't want to do because it months long process. So we will see. Anyway so I have some pics to share. I wish there was a better way to upload them rather than only 5 at a time. Grrr its not letting me put anymore on. I will fix it later.

So today I go for my entrance test for GED class. I am so not excited to go. I just think its stupid that I have to take the test, and then the class. Why can't I just take the damn GED test its self? I hate going to class, It makes me all nervous and crap. I know I need to do this, and I will do this. I just don't want to. LOL

Oh joyus!

I can't believe its December 1st already. Where did this year go? 24 more days and its Xmas. I have bought a few things here and there. This week I am going to go buy Kiarah's soccer nets, and stocking stuff. Kiarah's big gift will be HG World Tour, and Madison I am still thinking on the Dora power wheel. IDK what else to get her for a big gift. I think she would really enjoy that. But then I am woried with would be waste of money. I am still not sure what to get. I know some things for Madison, but Kiarah not so much. This weeks paycheck all goes to dance though. So I will have a lil bit for the stocking stuff and nets. I have to pay for this months class, her recital outfit, and sweatshirt. BLAH its rape I tell you. LOL Taylor's mom is supposed to be sending me back $100 because I paid in advance for the train tickets. So that will go for gifts. Im hoping she will be sending this week or next.

I am so not looking foward to this holiday. Its going to be so different without my sister, niece and nephew around. Plus I won't be able to see Steph. It sucks. NYE should be fun. I am going to my parents best friends house its his bday and NYE party all in one. So it will be nice to be around adults on NYE. LOL. I have to hire a babysitter though so that is not fun. LOL Im hoping my God sister will be the one watching the girls.

Kiarah's tooth is ready to like fall out of her mouth. LOL She ate an apple this morn for breakfast hopinf it would take it out, but it did not do the trick. It will be out before Xmas.

I now have to go and figure out dinner. IDK what to make.

I just changed my layout on my own. The last one I had someone made for me and had to install the layout for me because I am a ditz. LOL Well this time I did it. Everytime I write though I am going to have to remember to darken my post up so it can show better.

Gobble Gobble

So I'm a few hours late from really being able to say gobble gobble anymore. But hey its still Nov 27th on the west coast. Today was a good day. We watched the parade this am and it made me homesick! Ugh. I miss NY so much. I miss family and friends. Even though I have my girls, mom and step dad here, Xmas is going to be a downer for me because my niece and nephew won't be here. I won't see my sister and my bff. It sucks.

So anyway I got put into the holiday spirit this year. I am never into it this soon. It's usually the day before. LOL. I am still bummed about the fact I am totally broke and the girls will be getting next to nothing. I know, I know its not about money and presents. But I still want to give them whatever for Xmas like I have always had the chance too.

So what got me into the mood of course is baking! I love it. On Wednesday I baked 2 pies (pumpkin & apple) 2 dzn choc chip cookies, and a dnz brownies. Then I was at my boss/neighbors house and she was baking. So I joined in. And they had the Xmas music going, and then decided to put the tree up. It was nice.

And then today what put it over the top was talking to someone who I haven't spoken to in almost 2 yrs. Who? Steph's mom! Most know (because I have bitched about it) she stopped speaking to me when I had decided to have two God mothers. My sister and her. Taylor couldn't choose between 2 of his friends so we agreed for her to have 2 sets. So she felt that it was kinda a stab at her I guess, and she stopped speaking to me. I was so hurt because she has always been like a 2nd mom to me. Any so the story for toda goes...I had Kiarah call her just like I do any other holiday. Now normally she has the answering machine pick up and she scans the calls. Today she just answered, so I put the phone to Kiarah's ear and they spoke for about 5 mins. And then she said bye and Kiarah said she hung up. I was about to hit the off button, but something told me to just put it to my ear. I heard background noise and said hello. She said hello back and wished me happy tday. I said the same. We chatted a bit about NC. I told her I miss home of course and want to go back eventually. So then I said to her I hope you will no longer be a stranger. And she said she wouldn't that she missed me and I said I missed her. I cried , she cried. LOL It made me miss NY more. LOL So we'll see. Now that we will be speaking I want to take a trip to NY before the summer. I know she would let me stay at her house while I am there. And I would be going to see her, Steph and my sister & fam. We'll see how that goes. I have to figure out my funds come Jan. And see what I need and can wait on so I can purchase tickets. I may go for the Easter break. And come back the day before Easter? IDK something like that. LOL.

Last night we had a lil get together. My mom made lasagne and their best friends DJ & Karina came over. My aunt came up from SC and her friend Alan (who is here from NC) came over as well. I loved being around everyone. They were all hanging out and having fun. There was so drama but it was still fun.

As always Tday is fairly boring. I helped my mom prep a bit, yaay for me peeling potatoes. But on Tday she wants no1 in the kitchen, otherwise I would of helped more. Reminds me of my grandmother...lol. So she cooked we hung out, snacked. I ended up resting for 2 hrs while Madi slept. When we got up it was time for dinner. We had the usual...turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams, mashed taters, rolls, broccolli, and I believe that was it. The turkey was REALLY good. It wasn't dry at all. It was nice to sit around the table and laugh. My step dad decorated the outside of the house. So when we finished eating I put jeans on Madi (she was wearing a skirt) and took her outside to see the lights. I made a few stops at some neighbor houses. And that was really it. At 9 I tried putting Madi to sleep but she was fighting it big time. I ended up just staying in my room for the rest of the night.

Woah this was a bit mumbo jumbo'd...lol. Anyways its 2:23 my a double s needs to get to bed. Sweet dreams

Oh my oh my

I just figured out how much I will have for Xmas and it makes me want to cry.

And I just found out my brother is having a baby!!!!!!!!!!!! She is 2 months. He is whatever about it. I'm excited I guess.

On another note. I paid for our trip to Va in December. I am super excited for that!!!! We leave Dec 26th at 11:06 arrive there at 2:53. Then we get back on New Years Eve at 4:32.

I also went and got a bday gift for one of the neighborhood kids. Her party is tomorrow so I got her some earrings and bracelets because she loves that stuff. Better than a toy right? And then while I was looking around I got 2 things for Kiarah's stocking and 1 for her now for her wonderful report card. I also got her some damn gloves since its so cold in the am. And I think that was it. I have to figure out what these kids are getting for Xmas. I know of one thing I want to get Madison. It's the Little Tykes Pop Tune guitar. She always wants to play Guitar Hero when Kiarah plays. So I figured if I got her this then she would think she is playing too. Maybe! LOL

Bored

So for the last two nights Madison has been sleeping all night in her bed!!!!! We still haven't been able to just get in her bed and stay there. So I bring her in my room and let her fall asleep in my bed, then carry her in her room and there she stays. Lets just hope this stays like this.

So awhile back I was told I couldn't take a GED entrance exam until the first of the year. Well I called last week to see if they can help me out because the dude never got in contact with me for a month. So the lady I spoke with said the other guy (the one who never emailed me back) was trying to get a test set up before the holidays. Well I called yesterday and the chick I talked to on Friday has no idea what I was talking about. @@ So she said I had to call the other guy and talk to him about it. Winners who work at this college I tell ya. So there are 2 tests. One on the 2nd and the other on the 9th. So I will be there on the 2nd taking my test and starting classes on Jan 5th. By taking the test and getting enrolled in classes I will now take a class to become a notary and get a raise!!!

Kiarah is doing awesome in reading. She started at a Reading Level of a 10 when school started and I got her report card on Thursday. And there was a chart attached to it. She is now at a RL of 28. She went up 18 RLs in 9 wks!!! I am so amazed with her. In order to pass to 2nd grade you have to have a RL of at least 18 but they prefer a 20. She got S's on everything except a S+ in reading and N in conduct @@. She really needs to work on her behavior in class. Her teacher said she has had a good 9 wks academically. That she is reading well above her grade level and her writing and math is also good. She also said she must work on trying her best not bothering others, following school rules, and telling the truth. :sigh:

In December we are going to go see Taylor's mom for the holidays. I will be here for Xmas though. We are leaving On Dec 26th and returning on NYE. I am excited to go see her. Taylor's niece will also be there so it will be nice to see her as well. Kiarah is super excited, and this is the first time Madison will be meeting great grandma. And obviously she doesn't remember his mom so it will be nice for her to see her again. It should be fun.

I'm in a cleaning mood. Like a DEEP cleaning mood. So I got my music blasting and cleaning out EVERYTHING. Im going through everything and saying "Do I REALLY need this?" LOL. I filled a small garbage bag already. I cleaned out the garage yesterday of all my stuff in plastic storage containers and threw out 3.5 bags worth of shit. I can't believe I hold on to all this stuff. Its my process of my new me.

A little later the girls and I are going to carve pumpkins. And when Madi is sleeping Kiarah and I are going to decorate her jewlery box my mom gave her for her bday. I have been promising but we forget about it.

I need to take some pics of the girls because family have been bothering me on it. I got Madi a new costume yesterday. She is still being a witch but its a thicker costume and cuter. So I want to get pics of them in their costumes.

And I'm helping my mom cook dinner. Another new me thing. Im cooking meat! LOL

So I said I would try to post at least once a day. Its been 4 days since I have. LOL. I have some exciting news. Kiarah officially has grown up! LOL. Both of her bottom front teeth are loose. I cried when she showed me, I'm just a sap like that. Madi has been taking off her diaper all the time. I think she may want to take that next leap to PT more. I have been working with her though. We have bad and good days. Last night she went to bed, and when I checked on her her diaper was off and she pee'd in the bed. I was a bit mad. But what can I do? I want her to be fully PTed by her 2nd bday. I hate buying diapers!

Today we are going to carve our pumpkins. I'm excited for that. Madi's pumpkin is going to be Dora (thanks to nickjr.com) and Kiarah's she hasn't decided. We bought a book that has the stencils in it with all the tools. I also bought Madi another costume. I seen a cuter witch one and it's warmer so I just said screw it. I will take pics later and share. Om gotta go feed the brats. LOL TTFN

I hate carving pumpkins with a passion. I just hate touching the gooey crap. But anyway we did the pumpkins finally today. I think they came out nice. Kiarah's is a cat and Madison's is Dora. My first blog.

So I used to blog a lot on myspace. I wanted to blog outside of myspace. IDK sometimes I just can't say what I really feel because this friend is on there or that family member is there. Whatever. I want to start fresh with a new blog site. I have been saying for like a week now that I was going to start a blog on here and because I didn't have a computer I couldnt. Well now my computer is back, and I am in action. LOL. Anyway so just a taste of my life. I am a single mom of 2 girls....DUH hence the title. Their father who I have learned to just call SD (Sperm Donor) is a POS! Cold? Yes, maybe. But he is. He decided to walk out on them a year ago this past September. Just one day he stoped all contact. I know he is an adult but I know a lot of it his GF has to do with. But whatever my girls are fine.

Kiarah is a bright girl. I am so proud of her. Yesterday I got a letter home from her teacher saying she is above her reading level and is going to be in a enrichment reading group 45 mins a day twice a week. It made me so proud. She rocks at soccer! I used to think soccer was such a boring sport. That was until I realized how good my child is on that field. She is a hip hop dancer. I haven't really had the chance to see her do much since her class is at 730-815, and with Madison being so crabby around that time I can't sit and watch her. She loves being outside with her friends running around, rding her bike, scooter or roller blading.

Madison is such a great kid too. She was diagnosed with CP a few months ago. I do home therapy with her just doing ROM 2x's a day. Her case is really mild so she doesn't need to be seen in an office. I have noticed her leg has eased up on the tightness. She is talking so much. She is putting words together to say little sentences. She copies EVERYTHING! You really have to watch what you say around her because she WILL repeat it. Somethings are funny, some not so much :-X. I am working on PTing her. Its not a fun job but I hate diapers. LOL. I was working on it with her about 2 months ago but she fell out of interest. In the last week her interst has come back. It makes me proud that she is on her way to being a big girl. Now to get her out of my bed, and off the pacifier!!! Sigh! So thats the jist of my story and kids.

OT here is it sad that I am watching HSM (both of my kids in bed) and I am singing the words. LOL. I enjoy the movie a little too much. I am actually looking foward on going t see HSM 3 on Friday. LOL.

So I think I will end it here. I have nothing to so but I will find something. I should go read some of my book: My sister's Keeper...very good might I add.
